SOUND FAMILIAR?

Treatment ended. You still don't trust your body.

Scared to load the area that got hurt

No real plan for getting back to normal activity, let alone sport

Small tweaks and re-aggravation doing everyday things

Exercises that don't match what you're actually trying to get back to

WHAT WINNING LOOKS LIKE

Trusting Your Body Again

This isn't about getting back to exactly where you were. It's about coming out stronger than you started, whether "stronger" means competing again or just picking up your kids without a second thought. You load it, push it, and it holds. That's the actual finish line.

the plan

A Plan Built on What's Actually Weak, Not a Generic Protocol.

Every rehab plan at inTune starts with a real movement screening, finding exactly what's weak, tight, or moving wrong instead of guessing from a one-size-fits-all sheet. From there, we build a progressive plan: corrective exercise to fix the underlying pattern, then a structured return-to-activity program. Because rehab and training happen in the same building, there's no gap between "discharged from rehab" and "back in the gym."

WHAT FUNCTIONAL REHAB COVERS

It's movement-based, not a stack of stretches.

We look at how you squat, hinge, reach, and rotate, then correct the specific patterns keeping you hurt or holding you back. It covers post-injury and post-surgical recovery, chronic pain that hasn't responded to rest, and getting back to whatever you actually want to get back to.

Movement Screening + Corrective Exercise

We watch how you squat, lunge, push, pull, and rotate to find the actual pattern behind your pain. From there, corrective exercise targets the specific weak link: a hip that isn't firing, a shoulder that's overcompensating, an ankle that isn't moving right.

Return-to-Sport Programming

Getting cleared and getting ready aren't the same thing. We rebuild strength, power, and confidence in stages: controlled loading first, then sport-specific movement, then training intensity that matches competition. You don't jump from "cleared" to "game speed" in one step.

HOW IT CONNECTS TO THE GYM

Nobody's starting over.

Most places hand you a discharge sheet and wish you luck. At inTune, when your rehab wraps up, you walk onto the same gym floor, with coaches who already know what you've been working on and why. Your training builds directly on your rehab.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral for rehab?

No, you can book an assessment directly online, by calling the office (615-553-2268), or by walking in.

How is this different from physical therapy?

Functional rehabilitation at inTune is movement-based and performance-focused, built to bridge you directly into training rather than ending at "pain-free."

How long does rehab take?

It depends on the injury and your goals. We'll give you an honest timeline after your assessment.

Can I start rehab before I'm "cleared" by a doctor?

In many cases, yes. Book an assessment and we'll tell you honestly if medical clearance is needed first.
