Care Questions

Does it hurt?

Most people feel relief, not pain. We'll walk you through every step before it happens.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on what's going on. We'll give you an honest estimate after your first assessment.

Do you crack backs?

Adjustments can include a release of gas from the joint, which sometimes makes a popping sound. It's not painful, and it's one of several techniques we use.

Do I need a referral?

No, you can book directly.

Is it evidence-based?

Yes. Both Dr. Al and Dr. Chanel are Doctors of Chiropractic; Dr. Al holds an additional CCSP certification and Dr. Chanel is Webster-trained. Every plan is built on techniques with real clinical support.

Cost and Insurance

Do you take insurance?

We don't bill standard health insurance directly. We accept HSA/FSA, provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement, and work directly with auto insurance for car accident cases.

How much does a first visit cost?

$129 for a new patient visit (13+), $89 for pediatric (0–12). See Pricing for X-ray add-ons and full details.

Memberships and Cancellations

Is there a contract?

Yes, a 3-month minimum term, then month-to-month.

Can I cancel anytime?

After your 3-month minimum, yes. A $50 cancellation fee applies.

Between 30°F and 45°F.

How long do I stay in?

Most people do 5 to 15 minutes, starting at 5 minutes if it's your first time.

Is it safe for everyone?

Not for everyone. Talk to your doctor first if you have a heart condition, uncontrolled blood pressure, or are pregnant. Full safety guidance is on the Recovery page.

How hot is the sauna?

Our traditional dry sauna runs between 150°F and 180°F. This isn't an infrared sauna. Expect real, intense heat.

How long can I stay in the sauna?

Sessions run up to 45 minutes. Talk to your doctor first if you have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, or diabetes.

What is NormaTec, and how does it work?
